Who it’s for
- Adults preparing for, or recovering from, a total or partial knee replacement
- Family members and caregivers helping someone through the first weeks at home
- People who want to know what to prepare, what to expect, and what to ask at each appointment
The problem it helps with
Most of the hard moments after knee replacement happen at home, between appointments: a chair that is too low, the walk to the bathroom at night, the first stairs, a swollen day after a more active one. Discharge paperwork rarely covers the house you actually live in. The program gives you a clear, practical plan for those weeks.

“I suffered from an ankle injury, and consulted Dr. Baskaron regarding a treatment plan. He was able to assist me with in-home PT to accommodate my schedule and was very realistic with the healing goals. I’m very thankful for the experience and definitely recommend!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Michail. My goal was to develop the correct posture to ensure my efforts to build strength and endurance was not wasted. Michail immediately assessed and corrected my previous efforts. … I strongly recommend Michail for anyone seeking to improve their workout especially individuals like myself who are older than the average person who seek to either maintain their strength as they age or get even stronger.”
“He constantly mixes up our routines so they never get stale. And when I can't quite do an exercise, he immediately finds another way for me to engage that area, so I still get the benefit where I need it most. He knows the body, he listens, and he works around your limits instead of letting them hold you back.”

Questions
Is the guide medical advice?
No. It is general education. It does not replace your surgeon’s protocol or your physical therapist’s program — follow their instructions first.
Does it include exercises with sets and repetitions?
No. The right exercise program depends on your surgery, your health, and an evaluation, so the guide describes typical phases and practical strategies instead.
Who can book the telehealth evaluation?
People physically located in Virginia or DC at the time of the session. PTN Fitness does not provide physical therapy to Medicare beneficiaries.
I want in-home physical therapy after my surgery. Is this the same thing?
No. The program is a guide plus an optional call or telehealth evaluation. For hands-on care at home, see in-home PT after knee replacement.
Is anything guaranteed?
No outcome is guaranteed. Recovery varies by surgery and by person.
